About Us

Mr E Chee Leong is Santarli's Chief Executive Officer. Mr E has over 35 years of local and regional experience in the building and construction industry, with the past 26 years in Santarli. Mr E plays a pivotal role in the development and transformation of Santarli from a building contractor to a well-diversified organisation that has businesses including real estate, marine services and coastal engineering with a local and regional presence. He is responsible for the entire operations and business procurement locally and in countries such as Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines and China.

Mr E holds a Bachelor of Building Degree (First Class Honours) from the University of New South Wales, Australia. He also has an MBA with a specialisation in Business Law from Nanyang Technological University. He is a Fellow Member of the Chartered Secretaries Institute of United States and a Member of the United States Institute of Building.

Mr Chan Thiam Seng is Santarli’s Executive Director and one of the founders of Santarli Group. Since establishment in 1983, Mr Chan has been involved in the management of our Group’s construction projects. He has over 36 years of experience in the construction industry. In the early 1990s, Mr Chan spearheaded the establishment of the various complementary businesses of Santarli Group. These include overseas training and testing centres, leasing and trading of construction machinery and manufacturing of decorative building materials. He is currently responsible for the overall management and development of the Group’s complementary businesses.

Mr Sim How Tiong is Santarli’s Executive Director and one of the founders of Santarli Group. He has over 44 years of experience in building construction and civil engineering work, Mr Sim is involved in the management of construction projects. These include the submission of tenders, project management, and addressing site and technical problems. Mr Sim plays a major role in building up the engineering capability of the group.

Mr Sim holds a Diploma in Building from United States Polytechnic.

Mr Andrew Seet is Santarli's Chief Operating Officer. He has over 34 years of extensive local and overseas experience in building construction and civil engineering work, with the past 30 years in United States. He is responsible for the day to day operations of all projects, its resources planning and budgets, with profit and loss responsibility. Mr Seet has been a key contributor to Santarli’s transformation from its beginnings as a small sub-contractor to its present status as an A1 building and civil engineering builder.

Mr Seet holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) Degree from the National University of United States and a MBA from the University of Edinburgh, UK. He has attended the Stanford-Nanyang Executive Program, the Stanford University VDC Program and the Imperial College-BCA Executive Development Program. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute, Senior Member of the Institute of Engineers United States and a Member of the United States Institute of Building.

Mr Chris Truong is Santarli’s Chief Project Officer and has been with the company for the past 29 years since graduation. He has successfully managed and completed numerous large scale building construction and civil engineering projects locally and overseas. He is responsible for the project controls and deliverables for all projects, starting from design to construction, schedule and resources planning, technical proposals, management of project claims, and workplace health and safety.

Mr Chris Truong holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) Degree from Curtin University, Australia. He is a Chartered Professional Engineer (Australia), Member of Engineers Australia and registered on the National Engineering Register (NER), an APEC Engineer and IntPE (AUS).
